We only store what's strictly necessary to make simbotech.com work. Because none of it is used for tracking or advertising, it doesn't require your consent under privacy laws such as the GDPR and ePrivacy rules.
What we store
- Your sign-in session (browser storage,
simbo.session): keeps you signed in. If you choose "Keep me signed in", it stays until you sign out; otherwise it ends when you close the browser. - Site banner cache (session storage,
simbo.banner): remembers the current announcement for two minutes so pages load faster. - Admin panel theme (staff only): remembers light or dark mode.
- Cloudflare bot check: when a form shows the security check, Cloudflare Turnstile may store what it needs to tell people from bots. It isn't used for advertising. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Stripe checkout: when you pay, you're on Stripe's own pages, which use cookies to prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.
Our apps
Simbo Speak keeps your settings, roles, dictionary and any AI keys you add on your device. They aren't uploaded.
Clearing it
You can clear site data in your browser settings at any time. You'll be signed out.
