How to remove yourself from BeenVerified
BeenVerified is a background check site. You can ask it to remove your information for free. It takes a few minutes, then BeenVerified says it can take up to 3 days to act.
Before you start
Have your full name, city and state ready. BeenVerified's form finds your record for you.
Steps
- Go to beenverified.com/app/optout/search.
- Enter your first name, your last name and your state.
- Click Search, find the record that's you, and click “Proceed to Opt Out”.
- Enter your email address.
- Send the verification email, then click “Verify Opt-Out” in the message from BeenVerified.
Good to know
Choose “Do Not Sell My Information” if asked for a request type.
