How to remove yourself from Justia Dockets

Justia Dockets is a site that republishes court records. You can ask it to hide or remove your information for free. It takes a few minutes, then Justia Dockets says it can take up to 4 weeks to act.

Before you start

Find the page about your case on justia.com and copy its link. If a court sealed or expunged the case, have a copy of the order ready.

Steps

  1. Go to support.justia.com.
  2. Use Justia's written request form. Paste the link to the docket page and ask for it to be blocked from search engines. If the case was sealed, include the order so they remove it.

Good to know

Justia blocks its case pages from search engines on request. It removes pages fully only with a court order sealing them.

This guide isn't legal advice. Your state's court website has official guides to sealing and expungement, and free legal aid can help.
