How to remove yourself from PeopleConnect
PeopleConnect is a background check site. You can ask it to remove your information for free. It takes a few minutes, then PeopleConnect says it can take up to 3 days to act.
Before you start
Have your full name, city and state ready. PeopleConnect's form finds your record for you.
Steps
- Go to suppression.peopleconnect.us.
- Enter your email address.
- Tick the box that confirms the request is about you.
- Click VERIFY EMAIL in PeopleConnect's message within 15 minutes.
- Enter your birth date and legal name, choose your record, and verify it with a phone or email listed on it. Then set Desired Behavior to Suppressed and click Save: verifying alone doesn't hide it.
Good to know
One request covers Intelius, TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate and US Search name searches. The birth date can't be changed once entered.
