How to remove yourself from Spokeo
Spokeo is a people-search site. You can ask it to remove your information for free. It takes a few minutes, then Spokeo says it can take up to 3 days to act.
Before you start
Search for your name on spokeo.com. Open the listing that's you and copy its link from the address bar. If you have more than one listing, you'll repeat these steps for each.
Steps
- Go to spokeo.com/optout.
- Enter the link to your listing and your email address.
- Tick “I'm not a robot”, then click Opt Out.
- Open the email from Spokeo and click its confirmation link. The request isn't active until you do.
Good to know
One request per listing. Spokeo says changes show within 2 to 3 days.
